About the Presentation:

Dreams can provide important context and insight in clinical practice, helping to shed light on what is otherwise unconscious. In this complimentary presentation, Psychotherapist Anna Guerra will focus on the basics of Jungian dreamwork and provide practical tools for understanding and working with dreams, including understanding the theory of compensation and the importance of context, how to make associations using dream symbols, how to use the “dramatic structure” of a dream, how to understand the subjective aspects and more. Clinicians will have the option of earning 1 Continuing Education credit upon successful completion of a course evaluation at the conclusion of this presentation.

About the Presenter:

Anna Guerra, LPC is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors and has 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist providing individual, couple’s, and group psychotherapy. With a graduate degree in clinical psychology and post-graduate work that includes eight years of analytic training through the Interregional Society of Jungian Analysts, Anna also has training and experience with psychodynamic, cognitive, and mindfulness-based approaches. In addition to being a therapist, she is also a teacher, giving classes and workshops related to achieving understanding of ourselves and our relationships.
